Nate got the music bug at a very early age. His parents were impressed when they heard their 10 year old son playing John Williams melodies by ear on their vintage upright piano. At age 11, Nate won an award for a piece he composed for piano. At age 12, Nate also began playing trumpet and guitar, and his ear for music grew as he sang in choir and rock bands throughout high school. For high school graduation at the Hershey Arena, in front of an audience of thousands, Nate played electric guitar for a cover of Stevie Nicks’ “Landslide” and sang Joe Cocker’s version of “With A Little Help From My Friends”.
After Nate graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, where he directed and scored a few short films of his own, he decided to give Hollywood a chance. In Hollywood, Nate sang for hard rock/metal band Outlaw Engine for a year and a half, performing at a variety of venues around Los Angeles. After Outlaw Engine decided to take a break, Nate began to build his own studio and take on independent projects. He still lives and works in the heart of Hollywood where he is living the dream!
